USPS May Owe Payouts to 135,000 Employees In Final Ruling of Class Action Lawsuit

|

The U.S. Postal Service could be making payouts to approximately 135,000 employees after a ruling in a recent class-action lawsuit. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) determined the Postal Service’s National Reassessment Program targeted employees who were injured in the scope of their duties. This program was in place from May 2006 until July 2011. The National Reassessment Program withheld accommodations, improperly used medical information, created a hostile work environment, and forced some employees to reduce their pay, benefits, and hours. Some employees were asked to resign from their positions altogether.

If you have been affected by the U.S. Postal Service’s National Reassessment Program it is important to file a claim for relief as soon as possible. For more information please go to https://nrpclassaction.com/home or call Thomas & Solomon, LLP at 585-272-0540.
